I saw a concert advertised as Kansas with opener Spock's Beard at a venue website, and I also heard that it was advertised on KLOS radio station.
I bought tickets through the venue's website, which redirects to Ticketmaster. Then a day or two later they changed the lineup. Spock's Beard the band was never actually signed to be the opener, and the venue had jumped the gun and advertised it before any contracts were signed for the bands. When I heard that they made that mistake, I requested a refund from the venue. The venue told me to call Ticketmaster. I called Ticketmaster and they would only agree to refund the amount minus their fees. I expected they should give me a full refund, as they advertised it incorrectly, and it felt like a bait and switch to me. So I went to the credit card and disputed the charge instead. But now I got a letter from the credit card company and they denied the dispute. How do I get my full money back? Can I sue the venue or Ticketmaster, I feel they can each blame the other and get away with my money. I am out $300 dollars.
What sucks too is that I got this letter today, Saturday, and the dispute dept isn't open till Monday, so I am just boiling mad at home this weekend, and letting it ruin my weekend.
Thanks for your advice
