I have a judgment against someone who just sold their home.

title was issued as clear but it isn't. This is a large judgment. Now my attorney tells me the judgement attaches the property so i will have to execute against the new owners. The title insurance co. is being evasive and wants to settle without poviding a copy of the title policy. I'm in NC. Can I collect the full amount of the judgment or is it only the value of the property. Also, if only the value of the property, what happens to the remaining amount of the judgment?

These are questions you should ask your lawyer. If the lawyer's answers are evasive -- and as he may have some exposure for malpractice he may be in an funny position -- get an new attorney!
