Im less than 3 moths away from being 17. I am in love with a close friend of mine, a 27 year old man. I was just wondering, since Im at the age of consent, I know its legal. But, does that necessarily mean that if someone gets mad and calls CPS or something on him that he can't get in trouble as long as I say I consented? Just want to make sure before I try for a relationship because I don't want to risk him getting in trouble or losing his kids. And again NO OPINIONS ON MATTER, JUST FACTS PLEASE. A 27 year old man sniffing around a 16 year old minor is not after anything wholesome, decent or healthy for the 16 year old.

And believe me - if he has kids? You can bet your last dime that Mommabear is going to raise the issue in court.

When i was 19, I was in LOVE with a 33 year old. (see how that works when you are both of age?) He also had two kids. Let me tell you, a 33 year old doesn't want to wait for a 19 year old who can't get into bars, still is in college, is closer in age to his kids than to him. We dated 9 months. 9 months of him being frustrated I couldn't go anywhere fun.

Moral of the story. It didn't work. I'm 34 myself now, and I can't imagine dating a 19 year old. Much less dating JAIL BAIT.

When I was 15, I had a 22 year old "boyfriend." I was in tenth grade and he was in his last year of college. Imagine that. I thought I was something special, ya know?
