I may have done something that may turn out to come back at me and I never ment to hurt theese folks.
I went to a web site anonomus crime stoppers and entered information on some folks that I was concerned with their drug use with hopes that the situation would just be investigated ( that is what it said on the site) They turned it in to child protective services from the get go. These folks are not drug dealers and I just wanted them to investigate only.
The mother is pregnant and now has to do UA's and since has quit using all together. But they said they may test the baby when it is born.
Can my inquiry to an anonomus crime stoppers come back at me if the baby is tested poitive and they want to sue the one who started this whole thing -Me, but I didn't do the reporting to the child sevices.

They can sue you even if you didn't turn them in. Hell, they could sue me if they knew where to find me.

Would they win? Of course not. Forget it ...it's not worth the worry.

If there are other children in the house, then they ARE endangering the children by using drugs and having them around the house. They don't have to be dealers in order to be posing a risk to their children.

Second, what did you think they were going to do? Investigate, but not do anything about what they found? Obviously they DID investigate and found reason to turn the case over to the child protective services. If you didn't want them to do anything to these people, then why did you report them?

Third, if it is an anonymous site, then how would they know who reported them?

They just figured it out. They asked everyone else that may have and eliminated them.

someone at child serices gave them the information I gave you minus e-mail address. that is how they figured it out.
