I wanted to say thanks for all the Hard comments from you all on the topic I presented here. I really needed the straight-forward facts because I was really going crazy with feeling that was my only option. Running away which could possibly put my child in great harm, #1 being that I could lose custody. Rather than deal with this in a way that is totally risky to my son and I. I am emotional, I'm an artist, many are like that. I seriously needed a Left brain piont of view on this though. I was looking at the Gardianship order and there are other Safe & Legal options for me too take on this. At this time. I will see how it works out to take this route. Once again, Thanks for activating my Left brain people.

Previous Post...

want to leave with child. Bio-father recently took me to court. Was awarded a few full weekends per month and recognized as a Gardian. Judge over looked long history of Bio-father's --Violance, jail time and serious drug abuse 15 yrs of... He's been clean for over 1yr. (Later He says he took me to court because I was dating someone for a few months.) I know now I should 'Not' have represented myself in court but date came and didn't find a suitible lawer, but I thought I had so much evidance against him on his history I didn't have to worry about it.

Brief History of info.

kicked Bio-father to the curb at 7 months pragnant, he was working for my Dad at the time, he was fired, afterwards they found used needles in the work-truck, I left him.

I did not put any of his info on Birth Certifacte

Has been in and out of childs life last 5yrs

Gardianship Order has been active almost one year.

when child was 18months old went to court for child support, over 400$ comes off his check since than.

Seeing emotional problems due to fathers influence, Impossible to prove in court, we all know.

What are possible consiqences if I leave with no notification to him and without consent? This is what the Gardianship entails on my child and I moving.

Thank you, Vy

We all have our bouts of bad judgments or ideas when we are frustrated and feel helpless. I hope that you will try to figure things out without putting your child at risk. Good luck.

I am well acquainted with the Michigan courts. One of the factors used to award custody is "the parent who is most will to foster a relationship with the non-custodial parent."

What I suggest is counseling for both YOU and the CHILD to help deal with, and learn to work with difficult people. If the counselor finds the child in harms way, they can notify the proper authorities.
