I live in Missouri and my girlfriend and I have a problem. Her Father who is in prison for his untinth DUI actually has custody of her. He doesn't know me because he's been in for longer than we've been dating. She was living with his ex-girlfriend in a little run down trailor. But a month ago her mom found out that he's taking a state vacation, and took her to Chicago to live there until he got out. I was fine with that until I found out that her new step father is a pervert and kept trying to walk-in and see her naked, among a few other things. Once her mother found out she moved herself and my girlfriend back to Jefferson City, to live with her brother. My girlfriends mom is a nice person but she's uneducated and unemployed. I'm affraid she can't provide for her and that she has nowhere else to go.

I am a few years older than her but I have consent from her mother to have a relationship with her. Im a college educated graphic artist, I have a brand new car, a three bedroom house thats in her school district, and everything imaginable to take care of her. I will marry this girl one day but for now i need to get her out of there. I've been looking up info on emacipation and adoption but i'm not sure what I can legally do here. I have money but i'm not sure if i can actually afford a lawyer for this if its not going to do me any good. What can I do? Who can I talk to? Can someone please help us?

State police arrested the two mothers Tuesday, accusing them of condoning a relationship between a 14-year-old girl and a 24-year-old man.

State police arrested Lorraine Pereira, 42, in Torrington, Conn., the mother of a 24-year-old convicted sex offender. She was charged with risk of injury to a minor and is now out on a $5,000 bond.

Pereira is the mother of Nathaniel Pereira, a twice-convicted sex offender ordered on two prior occasions by a judge to stay away from underage girls. Pereira was taken into state custody last month.

Police have charged a 32-year-old Goshen woman, the mother of the 14-year-old girl, with risk of injury to a minor.

According to the arrest warrant, Nathaniel Pereira spent several nights with the young girl in a motel room in Goshen, Conn., and his home in Torrington, where he lived with his mother.

"This is a sensitive investigation. It involves a young female and therefore we're doing everything we can to protect that female's identity," said State Police Sgt. Paul Vance.

well then what can i do? Nothing. If you feel she is being abused, call CPS. Other than that, there is nothing you can do except find an adult to date instead of a minor.

im only 19 so thats not exactly a huge gap in age its only 3 freakin years so stop lookin at me like i'm a wierdo! I came here for advice and all i got was sarcasm and BS I thought this would be a good site for free advice on emancipation and other issues. But I had no idea that everyone on here was a sick perv. so thank you for showing your inner immaturity and not helping me at all.
