That's an excellent point. Keep your friends close, and all that.What the OP fails to realize is that by creating a distance between parents, that will necessitate a long-distance parenting plan. Such plans usually allow for long periods of uninterrupted time with the non-custodial parent.
Personally, I'd want to live on the same street so my kid would be nearby.

I've got a client who was convicted in 2008, and received a Notice to Appear (the first step in a deportation proceeding) in 2009. He was ordered removed in 2010, and again in 2011 (he appealed the first order). From 2011 until last month, he was out an about on a Order of Supervision.
