The bottom line here is that until your 18th birthday, you live where your mother says you live. If she says you live with your grandparents, then you live with your grandparents. If she says you come home, then you come home.

When you are 18 you can live anywhere you like.

Be VERY careful getting a diploma from an online high school, especially if you have to pay for it and can get it in a few days. Most college financial aid personnel are aware of diploma mills. LdiJ, I know that isn't what you meant.
No, that is not what I meant. There are legitimate schools out there. Most of them do cost money, but they are still legit. You have to complete the course work to get the diploma.

The Federal rules which apply to homeless children having right to free local public education are very broad and liberal .....check them out ....generally speaking a " regular" school diploma is more marketable than a GED.
