I was arrested for a parole violation, and we did a confidential marriage while I was in. In the meantime my wife was arrested and put on prop36.Her mom told probation that we weren't really married and that I was a bad influence on her, so they had the judge modify probation for her to stay away from me.
Now that I'm out how can I fix this without her there, because she's in a program and can't leave?

What a couple the two of you are!

Anyway, there is not much you can do about HER probation conditions. When she gets out, she can try to get them changed.

Married or not, the probation or parole conditions will trump any marriage license you have.

A: Nothing. Only your wife's probation officer can change her conditions. Whoever told you that your MIL was the one who caused this to happen was uninformed. Probation officers generally don't like talking to relatives because (usually) all they hear is "He is wonderful!" or "He is awful!" and rarely get any useful info.

Please please please post you don't live anywhere near me and if you did  have children... they went to my child's school!

(not that the children have any fault here. but when they are hauled off to foster school... boy are their friends gonna be affected/effected/ and WOW!)
