Dear all,

I live in Illinois...I am attending a public university.
I came to the US on a student visa and my cousin is a US citizen and he is my sponsor.
Recently I got married to an american girl and I applied for the green card.
I have to pay 7500$ to the university but I actually have a financial problem and I can't pay and don't need to complete because I am moving to another state.
what can the university do in this case?
I want to know if my cousin(my financial sponsor) will be asked to pay or this will affect his credit score.
Does this have any affection on my credit score?
do I have any legal obligation to pay?

Is the $7500 for upcoming tuition, or for the classes you have already taken? What EXACTLY is the $7500 for?

Did your "sponsor" co-sign for your loan? If yes, they will be responsible for the ENTIRE amount. It would affect BOTH of your credit scores if you don't pay and he doesn't pay. This will follow you around all through America, no matter what state you live in.
