What is the name of your state? Ca

A while ago i was on these forums because i was facing a 23140, MIP, and failure to stop. I went to court and the judge kindly helped me out. He threw out the 23140, but i had to plea guilty to the failure to stop, and MIP as an infraction. He also said that i have 30 AA meetings. Do you know if he will remove the MIP after the meetings?

Anyways besides that my main problem is... Insurance premiums are reviewed in the first week of jan. In order to keep my rates low i need to make sure that they dont see the 23140 on my DMV record because from what i understand AS SOON as you get cited for the 23140 it automatically goes on your record and is a mandatory 4 month suspension... or so i was told. I was never convicted of the 23140 in fact it was thrown out... this should mean its not on my record right? I need to make sure that the insurance company does not see this... what would be the best way to do so? I need to act quick because my father tells me they pull the insurance records a couple weeks before meaning i have like a week or two to act.

thanks everyone

I doubt they will see the 23140 as it is likely NOT on your license record. However, you can always pull a copy to see what IS there.

And it's anyone's guess if the MIP will go away after the meetings. If you are a deferral program, than it probably will. If not, then you will have to look in to expunging it a couple years down the road.
