I quit and a manger is going around telling employees he got me fired

do i have any legal rights to sue for salnder? i quit because of intollerable work conditions and another manager is telling the staff that he got me fired because i told the staff he was having sex with a employee in the office ,which is not true at least about me saying anything. the actual sex in the office is true but him telling all the employees this this is smearing my name,making me look bad.what can i do

You don't work there anymore. Move on. Your former manager's small mindedness will trip him up later without any help from you.
