What is the name of your state? AlabamaHere we go again. Last Thursday my son dressed out for PE. When he came back
there was a different lock on his locker. He was told to wear his PE clothes all day
when it was cold that day. They would Not give back his school clothes.
He got sick and was absent Friday.
At the same time a boy had been picking on him all week, thumping him in the eye,
causing Eye injury, which I took him to the doctor on Monday to have his eye checked.
Which was another absence.
The teacher was told about the eye injury and even saw it happen. He just told the boy
to stop and I think more should have been done, when an eye injury is involved.
but it was All ignored, no nurse, no nothing. We even made complaints to the teacher
Prior to this eye injury and Nothing was done.
I went to the school Monday to make a complaint in person. The vice principal said there would be consequences to the boy for this behavior. What the consequences were,
if any, I don't know. Today the same teacher threaten to paddle my son if he bothered
the boy. Well this is interesting, since Nothing was done to this Boy for Damage to
my sons Eye.
Also after Several phone calls and Notes to the School and Superintendent,
We still Do Not have the School Clothes back and the locker is still Locked.
What should I do? Do I have a case? Should I be talking to a lawyer about Lawsuits?
Should I call the police to cut open the locker and get my sons clothes out or what?
Should I go to the Superintendents office and complain in person?
