What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? virginia

I sold loptop to a person that lives in my area..she called me and said someone was gonna come by and pic it up..she said she had to right me a check and she would sent me some videos and hide the check in the box of one of the videos becasue the person coming by to pick her up would not allow her to pay for anything....and the check did not have her name on it it had someone elses name on it
ok
later that night she called me and said she could not get online...she was installing her internet service ...she had deleted everything i had on left on the computer including the internet service that was on there...she was playing around in the system trying to get the internet to connect...the computer worked fine before it got to her ..i had just put a new internet service on it and everything for her to use...i offer to take it back and give her money back ..she said no i want to keep it...but wanted $25 cash back from what she paid me i said ok fine...i sent it out about two days later and now shes saying she never got it..i think she is trying to scam me ..she saying she will call the cops and wants back the whole amount that she paid me....i sent her the $25 but stupid me has no way of tracking it and i was trusting that she would be honest...what should i do

You should have sent a money order.

If you wrote a check, you can put a stop payment on it at your bank and go buy a 75 cent money order -

if you sent cash, you have no recourse at all

What the hell are you talking about???
Your post starts with a very confusing terms of sale ("she said she had to right me a check and she would sent me some videos and hide the check in the box of one of the videos becasue the person coming by to pick her up would not allow her to pay for anything").....

Then, you jump to the buyers (apparently??) inability to access the internet and her demand for compensation ($25??). Which I presume you paid ($25 CASH in the mail???).

Now, she is still demanding the $25 and you claim to have sent???
If this is correct, tell her to 'pound sand'. You have NO obligation to send her anything.

Oh, and did she actually PAY for the computer and did the check clear??
And what the hell was ON the videos that she 'magically' offered to send (for some unknown reason)???
