Ohio... i would like to purpose legislation to state officials.. but im 19, and honestly have no idea how to go about this!

Im wishing to purpose the idea of legalization of marijuana use.
If anyone could help me on how to get started it would be GREATLY appreciated

Do you remember hearing about "Hippies" and "Yippies", and "Haight/Ashbury", and "Dr. Timothy Leary", and "Psychadelic", and "the Viet Nam War", and everything else that went with that era? No? Then study your history!!!

You see, dear OHSBrave06, the people of this country have been trying to legalize dope, in it's varying forms (not just Marijuana) for decades (that means many years), and it has all virtually failed.

There is NOTHING you can "propose" that hasn't been "proposed" before, and nothing you're going to do will ever get marijuana legalized - - not if the Feds have anything to say about it.

Study your HISTORY. Stay in school and learn something.

There was a time for everything in our history - - before we understood the effects of these various drugs. Now we know.

There was even a time that cocaine was an ingredient of Coca Cola, hence the "Coca" part of the brand name. But, it's been removed as an ingredient since the turn of the 20th Century (that means since around the year 1900).

California did it first. We passed the medical marijuana law about 6 years ago!

Guess what? The Feds said, no, we're sorry but there are NO sales of marijuana for any purpose. So, that put a stop to that real quick.

You see, dumbass, you need to study. You need to learn what has happened in the past. Colorado is going to get nowhere fast with it's legislation should it pass.
