What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WA
I have an owner contract with a couple that built a new house on my land. How can I find out if I can or not? I see nothing in the promissory note stating that I can't.
The house was built with cash, so there is no other mortgage. I own it free and clear and hold the deed in escrow.
If there is some statement prohibiting me from selling the contract where would I find it? How would it be stated?
