I was framed! Do I have a collectible lawsuit?

The State Police arrested some guy for posession of canabis 7.0 grams. This guys uses my name. How in the heck can someone get arrested, jailed, and then bond released using my name, for drug charges, without proper idenitification. Then, I recieve a bond release check in the mail in my name. This is crazy . I returned the check to the circut clerk accounting office. While I was there, I inquired about this charge on my record. She told me to gotto the states attorney's office. State attorneys office told me it has been dismissed by state motion and to get a lawyer and get it expunged off my record, I shouldnt need a lawyer for a mixup should I ? . It gets worse, The person bonded out with a company check, so they had to see a judge because police officers can't accept checks. I have a business checking account in my name, and they cant tell me who wrote the check. Next, I get a call from a family member telling me my name is in the newspaper for possesion of cannabis. Who is responisible for this mess? I mean this is a mess and this is just the tip of the ice burg. This has been a nightmere and I am mentally distressed, Stressed out.

What about the bad guy using my name and the police not even checking the identity. To be honest, this guy is a known felon, and how could they have missed this. Actually, he was just released.
