What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca

I was recently injured at work and informed my employer about it and it did hurt pretty bad but i did say id try to work through it.. Are they legally obligated to send me to the doctor even if i decline medical attention?

Short answer no. They are not medical professionals able to asses your condition.
*snicker* They may not be medical professionals but what are they doing to those animals and what do those animals have to do with OP's condition? *snicker**chortle*

I really think that if I were supervisor and an employee wanted to report that they had been hurt on the job, whether THEY thought they could "work through it" or not, I'd send them (nay, insist they be taken by the appropriate person) to an approved medical professional to make a decision on anything more serious than a stubbed toe. So that tomorrow they don't come in and announce they have been injured on the job, were denied medical treatment, have called 1(800) SUE-URASS and are now suing the company for a huge amount**************

And what happened? Did the doctor agree that this was work related? Has the doctor released you back to work? Did you receive any presecriptions? Any restrictions? What type of injury was this, anyhow?

Yes he agreed it was work related, I was givin medication and sent back to work but still hurts and no restriction, I fell from a ladder and was caught on video tape

Seriously? It was caught on video tape, you fell from a ladder, and you were encouraged NOT to see a doctor or file a worker's comp claim? Is this for real? You were given medications (we assume prescription meds?) and told to return to work immediately? Did the doctor give you a follow up visit?
