Hi,
I filed a small claims law suit against a 4 billion dollar company and won. They violated my rights under the FDCPA and the judge awarded me $6000.00 & 8% a year. The company failed to show. He took the ruleing under advisement. An advised in my favor. Now I dout that they will show up to show there asesets. There home office is in Georga and the case was won in Indiana. I did file in the right place (venue) because it is were the damage took place and where I lived at the time the problem. I also made sure that the corperation agent on file in Georgia was served in Georga.
Can anybody tell me if how to get Bank account numbers or something to have the courts garnish or dock the accounts for the money? I won a lawsuit against a collection agency and now what do I do ? hire a collection agency LOL ? I am told that they have 60 days to appeal. The court was in a small town in Indiana ..there clerk is kinda ....well... lets just say....a bit lacking in information. I ask her what to do and she didn't know! I have about 54 hours invested in this, 3 tanks of gas and a $50.00 filing
fee. Not to mention the certified letters @ 4 bucks a pop. all in all if you take my hourly wage and multiply ...about $750.00 bucks invested. Any advice would be so cool.
