 And why in the hell can't I capitalize IAAL and OT in the damn subject? It just reverts back to lower case letters.

Before I leave this lovely state, I thought I'd give you a present to tickle your funny bone.

Although, make sure you go to this page, and look at the last 3 pics... and the place they were taken. :D

My response:

Lovely. This confirms what I've always said on the forums.

Oh, and one other important note - - you'll notice that NONE of those pictures were taken in California. Rather, they were all taken in the States that I've mentioned in the past - - Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, etc. Only the Southern States.

Thanks for the laughs. Now I have something to throw at those trailer trash idiots who defend those States!

Dear heart...

The second link actually has 3 pictures of a "nautical" trailer, taken in San Diego, California.

My response:

First, they're on the water and mobile. They just happened to be photographed here as a curiosity. Second, I firmly believe they are just passing through California waters, and on their way to Mexico - - for permanent mooring.

Ahhhhh, big guy, what about Sunnyvale just north of San Jose? There is even one just north of San Ramon about 5 miles north on 101 from Bellview/Tiburon and a few on the 'other' side of 101 in Pleasanton :D

Notice, they were not allowed to land in San Diego!

Actually I understand they do have trailers in California, but usually behind high fences or walls, parks often have rules that don't allow trailers over a certain age so as to avoid, " Visual Blight". They are used on prison grounds, again behind high fences and razor wire, to house sex offenders that the public refuse to have in the community.

The straw bale skirts were an innovative touch! However straw bale homes are an environmentally friendly housing option but usually covered with adobe or stucco and not exposed straw!

I've been up and down this State, from top to bottom. I have never seen what you've mentioned, both the coast route, and the inland route. Therefore, those "things" do not exist.

Of course, I also drive in excess of 100 miles per hour with my eyes closed.

IAAL, I drove through the Mohave desert from San Diego up to the Kern River, and we honest to gosh DID see trailers out there on lots.

Maybe east of the mountains doesn't count?

My response:

Mirages play funny and hilarious tricks. Obviously, this is what was happening to you, and your mind's eye was merely bringing up memories from when you lived in a "trailer" State. Some people "think" they see water, and others "think" they see trailers. Go figure.

I saw her on the Today Show this morning.

No jumping jacks though.

Poor girl looks rough enough as it is, she doesn't need black eyes too. :D

My response:

She used to be a "trailer trash dweller" years ago. Remember, her full name is Pamela "Sue" Anderson. Only trailer trash name their children "Pamela Sue".
