What is the name of your state? Georgia

Trademark classifications are listed with the International followed by the US class.

Example: IC 003. US 001 004 006 050 051 052

Are the US classifications automatically generated from items listed in the International Class when the changeover occurred or, were the US classifications previously applied for and approved before the change to IC? In the case above, some of the US classes are now items in different IC classes than the approved one (in this case IC 003)...which takes precedence? Let's say someone applies for a trademark for a product that is in today's IC 021 and it was previously in US 004 like above, would that new application be rejected?

Yes, I was searching for a new name to be safe, and understand that the IC classification was used now. So, in the example above, there are six US Classifications, does that mean the owner filed six separate applications (or six categories and associated fees)? Isn't the US list a thing of the past?

That’s okay. I had a string of posts. It seemed easier than editing. :)

Path11, the advice offered to you before is still good advice. You should seek out assistance from a trademark attorney in your area.
