I ordered several items through the PetSmart/Stateline Tack catalog. As per their return policy, catalog items can be returned to a PetSmart Store. We don't live close, so I mailed the items to Petsmart in Spokane, Washington. Petsmart acknowledges receipt of items, but are refusing to issue credit for them, because copies of receipts were sent. They are also refusing to return the merchandise valued at approximately $1,000.00. Do I file small claims in Idaho where the items were shipped or in Washington where the items were returned?

Well, if you would send the original receipts, it appears that you would be able to get your money back. But, the better issue is this:
If you order this through the mail, and needed to return it through the mail, why didn't you return it to the place where you originally purchased it, to save YOURSELF from YOURSELF?

You caused the problem, not the store, or the catalog company.
