What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin

My sister is executor for my mom who passed away. The attorney said he needs the social security number of all interested parties which would include my brother. He doesn't want to give it out to anyone. Will this hold up the probate or is there something we can do? He only visited her once a year and now that she died he's up here to see what's going on. He isn't really interested in the money as he will send it to the orphans in Africa.....any suggestion to get my
Brother St. Patrick to cooperate (he doesn't know I call him that). Thinks he's equal to the Pope.

Thank you

Ask the attorney to explain why he needs it.

Unless the probate estate needs to issue a 1099 for estate income, I don't know why it would be needed.
