What is the name of your state? Maryland. I just don't want to lose me section 8 voucher before I even get it, I have been waiting for 8 years .

Married and unmarried couples may qualify for the housing choice voucher ("Section 8") program. Getting married in and of itself would not disqualify you. Applicants must qualify under several factors, including having income which does not exceed the applicable limit and passing criminal background screening. For more information on program eligibility, see Chapter 5 of HUD's HCV Guidebook.
