If I transfer my NC license to GA, will they find out about NC suspension?

I was recently charged with a DUI in NC, however not convicted yet. I live in GA now and was wondering if I transfer my license from NC to GA, will NC notify them of a suspension (assuming this will be the case) or does GA actively check? My NC license is valid for now, since I paid the fine. Also, I have read that NC driving records do not show pending charges. I have read that GA is not a member of all the license compacts but still has other agreements with states. Getting a license in GA should not be the problem with a valid license and a "clean" driving record from NC. Assuming I can get the GA license, what are the chances GA will suspend my privledges also?

I am in the exact same boat. Moving to TX before my VA Dui case is completed. From what I have read, they all report to the NDR. The real question is, does the original state directly notify the new state, or does the original state just upload a report to the NDR database, then its up to the new state to go 'pull' the report. If its the later, I would assume they would only know about it when you apply for the license and when you renew the license.
