If she sued and got him unemployment why couldnt he take my baby?

so here I am again appalled that his interfering mother appealed for unemployment benifits and got them!!!!I cant believe it he quit!! he has no rights to these benifits, I have no clue how she did it she must know someone, she also thinks she can get him to get full custody of the baby if I dont do things thier way, Im afraid to do anything to make her mad, she said she can do anything and she did, boy is my sister teed off, they almost lost thier home when her husband couldnt get benifits because he had to quit a dead window sales job!! they werent making any money all the bills were going on credit cards and they had to sell thier truck and had only one car left!1 this is so upsetting if she can get qway with that who knows what she can do.

Tiffanys, what are you talking about? Who file for unemployment benefits and got them? Why does this matter to you? You say "she appealed" but then you say "he has no right to them."

I ont know about PA but here in Iowa they may give some unemployment , but then the company they worked for has the right to file a grevance. unemploment will call the woker ask there side if they agree - if all is ok the will still get there money. But the company can still file another grevance and the they hold a phone confrance with the company and the worker an judge and any lawyer in volved, not a easy one to win this one, if the judge does agree with the worker the get a letter telling them ther where overpaied $ and it must be paied back they will keep the state taxes to pay it back. I am guessing your state would have a simaler process - because it is a fedral program I belive - someone correct ,me if i am worng.

Tiffany got to the county DA ask if they can help you , or call the Local Legal Aid office , maybe even if you know a law school in your area see if they take on case for just court fees. She will have to prove you an unfit mother to get your baby. Dont belive her his mom is just trying to scare you, just worry about the health of your baby.

Im talking about my boyfriend, he quit his job, for no reason other than laziness.and his mom appealed twice and got him benifits, I was so hoping he would be denied a second time, I wanted him to realize things are not handed to us on a platter we have to work for it, but NO they went and let him have 500 a month!!! I dont know how his mom does it, she got him out of random drug tests from the probation officer becase sheknows him?Iwas hoping they would have tested him and found what hes doing so his mommy would have to finally believe me that hes on pot.l she knows the owner of the company he dont care if he getsbenifits just so she leaves people alone.it
matters to me because no matter how hard I try to live a clean life, by going to classes and getting my g.e.d I seem to be getting nowhere, yet these people get stuff handed to them! she can do it all so it seems.
I cant get a job Im due in 5 weeks no one is going to hire me and I cant go to school with a baby because I will not let him watch this child while I go to school,I dont trust them. My sister can only watch a baby for a few hours a week she has a life.
sorry it just seems hopeless, people with money always have and people without never get.

go the your county DA ask for there help. You can call his PO and tell him he is doing the Drugs or the PO's supervisor. If his mom takes you to court over the baby ask to a drug test ( hair only) it will tell what drugs he has done for up to the last ten years. You dont have to work, that does not make you a bad mom that you want your GED IMO that makes you a very smart mom. You need to find a lawyer to help you. Look at my abve post and try the place I suggested see if they can help you or point you to someone who can. Ask for supervised vists of the baby and dad with someone you trust.
Don't let his mother get your goat and don't back down this is your child.

tiff, don't let his mom get you all stressed out. Your pregnant for gods sake!
and being only 5 weeks away from having your baby, i know your tottaly stressed about it. My daughter just turned 8 weeks old today. And I remember that last month of PG was hell. you could go at any time, but it seems to be taking forever. You feel crappy all the time and your EVERYWHERE hurts. Don't let his mommey get to you, tell her to leave you alone and get a life.
Also if your worried about finishing school and daycare. Most states have adult education, where you can get free daycare, and your in the same building as your baby, so you can go check on them as much as you want. Plus most adult ed classes are free if you qualifie. which just means you have to be over 18 and not have graduated from a regular high school.
sence you can get online just run a search for your cities school district and see if they offer adult education.
you can also check for the surounding cities in your area.
Oh and one last thing, grandma has no rights to your child, and you will most likley end up with sole custody, with daddy getting visitation. they will have to prove neglect or abuse to get custody.
