What is the name of your state? -->Virginia.

I understand that there are certain activities that are considered illegal in several states, such as pederasty, sodomy, and incest, to name a few.

My question is, what if a juvenile writes fanfiction [or even original fiction, I suppose] about characters that are sixteen at the most, with the characters engaging in the aforementioned illegal actions? Would they be protected under the first amendment--because they're just writing about it, not engaging in it themselves--or not?

I've noticed an increasing number of underage authors choosing this sort of subject matter, and I just wanted to know if it was possible for them--or anybody, really--to get arrested for their stories.

My response:

Not in your State, or in any other Appalachian State. These acts are normal, everyday, natural, acceptable, acts - - especially "incest".

It's something our writer enjoys . . .

Main Entry: ped·er·ast
Pronunciation: 'pe-d&-"rast
Function: noun
Etymology: Greek paiderastEs, literally, lover of boys, from paid- ped- + erastEs lover, from erasthai to love
: one that practices anal intercourse especially with a boy, but could be done with small farm animals; e.g. chickens, gerbils, ducks. Preferably done with cows and pigs. Mostly practiced in Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee, and other Appalachian States.

Thank you for your responses. However....

It's something our writer enjoys . . .

That is not true, I'm afraid. I was merely checking up on these facts because a friend of mine found a story by a daughter of hers lying around, and she was worried.

And those activities really aren't illegal? I got the impression that they were from the information on this site's main page.

Thanks again for helping me clear this up.

My response:

I have no idea what we helped you "clear up". We just think it's a funny question coming out of Virginia, where these "thoughts", "beliefs", and "deeds" are a normal way of life for you Hillbillies!

Yeeeeeeeeee Hawwwwwwwwww! Let's done get us some chickens!!
