What is the name of your state? NEW YORK

MY UNCLE TOOK OUT A LIFE INSURANCE POLICY AND NAMED HIS MOTHER AS BENEFICIARY BEFORE HE GOT MARRIED. HE LATER MARRIED. HIS MOTHER DIED AND FOR 13 YEARS THE POLICY REMAINED WITH HIS MOTHER AS BENEFICIARY. HE THEN DIED. THE INSURANCE COMPANY SAYS THE BENEFITS GO TO HIS ONLY SON, BUT HIS SON COMMITS SUICIDE SOME YEARS LATER. THE COMPANY SAYS IT THEN GOES TO HIS SON'S ESTATE. DOES HIS HANDICAPED WIFE OF 18 YEARS HAVE ANY RIGHTS TO THOSE BENEFITS?
