..will the county that your court probation is out of be notified? I have been told by most that there is a chance, but it is for certain. Though I have also been told that they will be automatically notified no matter what, once they look up your record (which they always do). Which is correct?

This is in california.

We can't predict the future.

I would, however, think that today, in the time of the internet, that counties would share information with other counties.

I would, therefore, recommend you contact your PO about your new conviction. PO's really hate to be surprised.

In fact, you probably should have notified your PO upon your arrest... would could have already been seen as a violation.

I have COURT probation.. no parole officer. Most lawyers I have spoken with have said that they are not automatically notified.. but I'm just trying to make sure this is true and not just a overly optimistic ploy for my business.
