Illegal audio possibly video recording while at work?

What is the name of your state? NY
I'm a regional consultant based out of my home office. I recently discovered that I'm being audio recorded via program software temporarily installed on my work computer daily. I researched this software and discovered that it also had video recording capabilities and allows others to remotely view my desktop and me if they wanted to. I had inquired from upper management about any recording activities that I should be aware of to which they responded "no". Any suggestions as how to move forward? Do I have a potential case?
