I was taking papers. brush and cans to town recycling center. As I pulled up, I took out a small bag of newsparers to reach brush in back of truck. I then looked around, and realized center was closed due to a holiday. I backed out, returning with my trash, but inadvertantly left the bag of nespapers behind . I didn't even realize it, until 2 days later, an officer appeared at my door, issuing me a ticket for "illegal dumping", since my mailing address was on one of the local newspapers. He issued me a tickey, saying "it"s easy, just a minimum fine, no court apperance" I went to pay the ticket, and was told it was indeed a court appearance. I go tomorrow. Any suggestions?
