What is the name of your state? Florida
I was given notice by my landlord that I was now a month to month tennant at the property and would be evicted in 15 days. I paid my rent on time and took good care of the property. The reason for the eviction was an unrelated personal dispute I had with my landlord having nothing to do with the property. There was no cause or option to remedy stated. 6 days after the notice and while I was away from the home she took posession, changed the locks and moved my property in to the garage.
I had a home based business which was effectively shut down by her moving my property, she disconnected my business phone and computer which hosted my website.
She is now living in the home. I have been living in hotels and at friends houses for the last month while trying to resolve this. She won't budge or even return my calls or e-mails.
I realize I can and will be suing for damages, but I still have no place to run my business and cannot afford to rent a suitable place at this time.
1) Can I request a remedy in the way of asking a judge to allow me back into the property under our original renters agreement in order to have a place to run my business.
I need a stable place to run my business at least for several months to rebuild and maintain some financial stability and I have no other options. Since I cannot work, the longer this continues the worse my financial situation is, I'm already knee deep in debt and personal loans as a result of this.
