I bought a townhome and closed back in Oct. 30, 2000. I believe that there are liens filed against my property by contractors who did work for the developer. The developer just closed its doors a week ago. Since these services were performed before the home closed and not after, are these liens legal???

Where can I go to see if these liens have been formally filed in court against my property (they sent me notices)? I live in Georgia.

Also, the developer went out of business prior to completing all of the warranty work (my stucco is cracked on the front). I have a 2-10 warranty, will they be required to complete warranty work if the builder went out of business???
