Two months ago I was involved in an auto accident in Tennessee. After 1 month of trying to contact the other driver, who was at fault, I filed a warrant against him in general sessions court. Miraculously after the warrant was served, his insurance called wanting to settle. First they refuse to pay for a rental car because they say i can do without my car for 5 days, then they only want to pay me for 1 of the 5 days I missed work due to the injuries, now, they are refusing to pay anything at all for my neck injury! The insurance representative told me if I would drop the warrant then we could talk about a better settlement. Isn't that blackmail? Then he told me that since the man has insurance that I can't sue anyone at all for anything! Is he bluffing or is this true? I have over $3k in bills and they are offering to pay for $800 even though the police report says the other driver was at fault completely. Can I sue this guy?

You need to speak with a lawyer in your city. Don't talk to the adjuster, talk to a lawyer. And go right away so you do not prejudice any of your rights.

I called 11 lawyers weeks ago and none will take the case. They all say it's not worth their time. Now what?

I would suggest trying more lawyers. If not, does your state have small claims court? I do not know your state's laws and therefore cannot give you any further information. How about trying friends and family members to see if any of them have a relationship with a lawyer who is willing to do you a favor (or at least meet and give you advise).

good luck
