California
Hello.
I over stayed in California from 1989-2000. I graduated from high school, and attended a Community College illegaly for 2.5 years, 1997-2000. I left the US in 2000. I should have a 10 year bar from rentry, but in May 2005 i got a 5 year visitor's visa, and was able to visit California just recently, May 2006. I was granted a 6 month stay, but i only stayed for two months, and now i'm back in the Philippines.
I'm now thinking of going back to the Community College that i attended, but i want to go back legally with a Student Visa. My question is, will there be a problem with the school finding out that i previously attended the college illegaly? Would they still grant me the I-20, accredit all the units i have taken, and let me continue/finish my degree? Any additional info is appreciated. Thank you.
