On 8/98 I signed an employment contract with the following paragraph: MRC shall lease a vehicale fo Employee in the name of the company an an amount not to exceed $550 per month; provided however in the event of termination of employment by either party for any reason, Employee shall be obligated for the unpaid portion of the lease. I have not received a W-2 for this car in 1998 no 1999. Does not receiving a W-2 make this portion of the employment contract illegal and void? If not, what could I do to terminate this portion of the contract.

Thanks!

Not getting a W-2 shouldn't have any impact, but the contract itself seems wierd, and may be against public policy. Consult a lawyer who does employment law in your locale, starting with attorneypages.com
