What is the name of your state? Illinois
I am a heir to my Grandmothers estate. My aunts husband is executor. My grandma passed away oct,2003.No one has received one penny from the estate.the house is on the market ,but has not sold .Yesterday I went to the court house to look at the probate papers .On the papers filed it said estate value was personal 4,200 real 74,000 .my thoughts were the personal was 4,200 not including money.at the court house it listed as 2,100 savings 1,600 checking and personal property at 500.00 .we all know grandma had 21,000 in her bank acct.My aunt was added to her acct as a convenience to grandma since she had alzheimers in april 2003 .The only reason I beleive she didnt list money was cause she thinks it is hers since her name was on acct..would you reccomend doing a current accountability? and also citation to discover assets? no one has heard anything about this money .also there was a safety deposit box.can she clean it out without stating what was in it?Thank you in advance
