What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FLORIDA. I was after my ex wife for a year they finnaly served her it took them a year.We go to court she has a lawyer. the judge found our M.S.A. null and void it was ok with me. i could see after that hearing how child support and custody arangments were contrary to florida law.when we did it my daughter was to live with mom and my son with me. We divorced in 03 in 05 she sent her back so in 07 i filed child support the new case opend in 12-08 after i opend new case dept revenue was trying to serve her in oklahoma. to no avail i contacted dept of revenue attorney and she said now they are trying to get her lawyer in florida to accept service. he is on record as her lawyer. I after finding this out hired lawyer. to hopefuly speed this thing up so they finally talk. i told state attorney for DOR msa could take awhile and child support needs to be orderd she agreed. But it wont take long because of house she quit claimed years ago and cars and all are mine no judge can change that what she will have trouble is arrears date 05. Also i don't understand the part of her lawyer acepting or waiving service on her . I thought if your lawyer was and is for child support the lawyer could be served. and DOR wouldn't have to serve her. could someone help me understand why this is?:)
