a guy ive had a few run ins in an online game with..is posting personal webistes i use...and posting my private info for those to see..you can just google these addresses though,.but hes saying mean and hurtful things in these..i can provide a screen shot of what im enduring to people..i want to know if i have some kind of case..despite it being the internet..can he rip on my personal online dating websites i use..and make a mockery out of it..and sending my info to 200 people who also play madden online as well..please help me out..i will show you the screen shot if needed..thank you!

Based on what you have posted here, keyshawn, it does not sound like you have enough for a defamation action. It would take an attorney's personal review of exactly what has been posted about you, however, to determine if you have a claim worth pursuing.

Most mean and hurtful statements are not defamatory - just mean and hurtful - and personal information that has already been published online or is readily available to the public is not considered "private" or "confidential."

Some people feel the need to use another's personal information in a harmful or hurtful way, and some people feel the need to post mean things, but they are generally not breaking any laws by doing so.

Again, the only way to determine if you have any legal action you can take against those giving you grief on these websites is to have an attorney in your area review what has been said about you.
