I am on working VISA (H1B). My company is laying me off. If I don't get another job I will have to return to my country.

I have around $60,000 debt on my credit card and unsecured loans. Another $6,500 that rental car company is claiming after my recent accident.

If I don't get a job, I am thinking of filing bankruptcy because I am sure I will not be able to pay off all my loans.

Can someone please help me with advise? What is the procedure and how will I be affected?
