I became a naturalized US citizen in July 2001. I applied for my parents through form I-130 in August 2001 while they were in Pakistan. INS contacted me and asked me to send my parents a completed form I-864 (Affidavit of support) so that they can bring it to the US consulate when they will be called for an interview.
At this point my parents also want to bring with them their youngest son(my brother) who is 17 years of age and cannot live with out them. My question what is the procedure for that so that their son (my brother) can get the immigration at the same time with my parents since he is a minor and cannot live alone. Are there any specific forms to fill out or do they have to ask the US consulate at the time of their interview. Their interview date will approximately be between four to six months from now. I will really appreciate your help in this regard. Thanks
