I live in New Jersey.Currently I am holding permanent resident card and very soon within 6 months i will be acquiring my U.S. citizenship. My girl friend in abroad and we are willing to get married soon. My question is that is it possible to get married on green card ? In case if i get married on green card then should i file her petition on my green card or should i wait till i get my citizenship and then file her petition ? I want to know which process will be more faster ? I would appreciate if you could answer my quesiton.

You can get married at any time but it would be best for you to wait until you are a US citizen before filing a petition on her behalf as that would be the fastest route, although it will still take about 9-12 months from filing to her being able to enter the US as an immigrant.

Some lawyers advocate filing the I-130 now, while you are still a Permanent Resident, in case anything delays your naturalization.
At your oath ceremony, you should be given instructions on how you can 'upgrade' your petition to your new citizen status, and move it to the front of the line.
