In process of lawsuit

I am in the process of being sued, my car was rear ended and pushed under another, so far the deposition I was taking was cancelled by plaintiffs attorney at last minute to be re scheduled, In the meantime my attorney told me that he thinks the plaintiff is going to drop the case against me, if she does he told me I could sue, Apart from all the stress etc what can I actually sue for, what is it called
