I am from Kentucky. I have been having the same problems with the chevy malibu. I took my Malibu to the shop in Dec. 2004, they informed me that the manifold intake gasket was bad.. I paid $800.00 to have it repaired. The shop said it was the 7th Malibu they had repaired that month. Now it is April 2005 and somthing is wrong with one of the heads, $900.00 more to fix . This a 2001 I am sending money like this is a classic cat. Please if anyone can help let me

2001, is it still under warranty? Check for recalls on that model from chevy.Was this car in a major wreck?
