Tenant has been incarcerated since 4-28-06 and has not paid the rent. His arrest record shows that he was arrested for manufacure/distribution of a controlled substance. Thank goodness that it didn't happen in the apartment. His 'roomate' has taken her things and left. He has spoken to us (5/13) and said that he would be out in a few days and that he would pay rent owed and two to three months rent in advance. It is now 5/31 and we haven't recieved any infromation or money since. What are our options? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?

My response:

What do you want to know about the law?

We're not here to teach you how to run your business, or guess, or tell you what choices to make, or how to live your life.
