Years ago I heard something about income averaging if your income increased dramatically from one year to another! Is this option still out there?? If so, what publication describes it? I am a Minnesota resident!

Income averaging

Sorry, income averaging went out a long time ago, except in the case of receipt of certain lump sum pension benefit payments.
