What is the name of your state? MS

My ex pays me child support of 175/month total for my two kids. The ex has been out of jail for a year now, remarried, and doesn't seem to care about working to take care of the kids. I work a full time job to support me and my kids, but, $175 is not much these days. Would it be worthwhile to file papers to try and get support raised? I know the court system can't force a parent to take care of a child if the parent does not want to.

Thanks

Do you have any reason to believe that your ex makes more money now than he did when the order was put in place? If so go back and file for a modification, however if your not sure then do some research first to see how often you can modify and try to fish for information about what he makes.
