Does the Indiana Child Support guidelines state that any children after the child born are not allowed to be included in calculating child support?

STEP 1: Determine the number of natural or legally adopted children born or adopted by the custodial and/or noncustodial parents subsequent to entry of the present support order, and who are living in the respective parent's household.

Does this mean that any children adopted or born after the child support order can be included in calculation?

The way I read that is that they consider the children born BEFORE the order is made. Meaning if the order starts tomorrow then all previous children are counted... however.. If on Wed. the NCP goes and adopts a child then that child wouldn't be considered when calculating...that would be the subsequent part.

Does this mean that any children adopted or born after the child support order can be included in calculation?

Yes, it does. If I remember correctly you can not seek a modification because you had a baby or adopted one but if the order comes up for review again they will calculate any subsequent children into the formula.
