What is the name of your state? NJ
charged last year with Certain persons not to have weapon and then the judge dismissed, i get stopped while driving saying i have a warrant and locked up. I find out that I now have 3 charges against me in a direct indictment. 2 certain persons and 1 criminal possession. Can I be charged twice for the same thing even if it was dropped

It depends on who drops it and why. Unless you were found "not guilty" on the charges, or the court dismissed the charges with prejudice, the state is generally free to come back to court.
