I can’t think of any other sort of video that would get somebody convicted of a crime by showing it to a child though.
I can't either offhand. But YouTube videos are not likely to be pornographic.

Look at the state's level 6 felonies and the state's misdemeanors. He was tried before a jury of 6 so this was not a major crime.

Maybe the term YouTube was used generically. Some people refer to any video on the internet as being on “YouTube”. It’s become a generic term much the same as Kleenex and xerox have.

He should have an attorney at sentencing. He was entitled to that. The fact that he didn't could over turn sentencing. As for getting a transcript? Costs are not to prevent someone from appealing but counsel will be able to request it once counsel is appointed for the appeal.
